It was very long ago that this post appeared on Ria's site. I was, and still a supporter of Gay and Lesbian Rights. I do not see how the Court (or anyone, for that matter) can intrude into something as private as our bedspace.
However, this piece of news has once again fuelled my anger. Who the hell are any of the authorities, whether they be school principals, or the Hon'ble judges of the Supreme Court, to decide whether what a person is in his bedroom is right or wrong?
Even if a person (irrespective of whether the person concerned is a male or a female) makes love to another one of the same gender, why should the Honourable Judges of the Supreme Court or the School Principal take a stand? Why should they dictate whom any specific person can fall in love with?
